This software definitely is your choice, if you are searching for the most compatible sequencer platform.

A Giant with some weak points. With this sequencer you can do almost everything, but not all of that fast and efficient.

Logic Audio supports a great variety of hardware (even TDM), every important plug-in standard, notation and is very customizable. Just from the amount of features, certainly the most flexible system you can get today.

But this has a price. If everything is possible, simple things become sometimes harder to do. Therefore I would recommend it for professional users, that absolutely need most of the features.

Plus:

• Widely used and therefore good compatibility with other users
• Good notation
• Incredible feature list

Minus:

• Sometimes complicated because of too many windows with too many different menus
• Automation can be cumbersome
